The Role and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our projects from their operational acceptance, through to delivery and completion. As a Project Manager you’ll be part of our Delivery Team, reporting to the Head of Project Management & Delivery.

You will act as a liaison between our commercial team, clients, and the wider operational test team — ensuring projects are delivered as per technical delivery, timings, and within the budgets set out in the Statement of Work.

Our Project Managers are pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time and as per expected outcomes in line with the business’ project delivery processes. You will take ownership of projects whilst they are being delivered by our Operational Team, ensuring all parties internally and externally are aligned, updating stakeholders regularly through appropriate means including emails, calls, and written reports.

Success in this role requires a good understanding of Software Testing and QA. Prior experience is desirable, however full training will be provided, including dedicated time spent as part of our functional testing team to learn core skills as well as understanding software development & QA practices and terminology.

  • Management of multiple concurrent projects
  • Stakeholder management, internal and external parties
  • Pro-actively leading projects through daily stand-ups, progress reports & change management
  • Project progress monitoring and control using tools such as Trello, MS Teams, Jira
  • Briefing, overseeing, and supporting multiple Test Analysts assigned to projects
  • Scheduling & resource management
  • Conflict resolution
  • Risk identification & management

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience co-ordinating or managing projects
  • Excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills
  • Capable of effective negotiation
  • Proven track record of good time management & scheduling
  • Experience or understanding of effective risk management and control
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Computer literate, excellent working knowledge of common software packages

Bonus Points for:

  • A Project Management related qualification
  • Worked as part of an Agile team
  • Experience working in Software Development or Quality Assurance
  • Educated to Degree level in a related field
