Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Users navigating with Apple VoiceOver on iOS will find that dropdown arrows in the mobile menu are focusable. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content).
Menu controls are not correctly marked up, making it difficult for users of Dragon Naturally Speaking to operate. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content).
Carousels and Tabbed content are currently incorrectly structured within the HTML. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships).
Navigational links within the footer are marked up with an aria-label of ‘Footer’. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships).
Icons within the footer that change brightness on keyboard focus do not have suitable contrast in a focused state. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.11 (Non-text Contrast).
Carousel pips cannot be operated with a keyboard or screenreader. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.1.1 (Keyboard).
Dropdowns displayed in mobile and tablet viewports for tabbed content are labelled up in a way that prevents the visible text on the page to be ignored. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.3 (Label in Name).
Focus indicators for inactive carousel pips lack sufficient contrast. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
Users navigating with Android Talkback will find some content is focused twice or incorrectly within the main site menu, the site footer, carousels and service cards. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value).
We aim to resolve these issues within Q1 of 2025 following a CMS upgrade.
