This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

  • Checkbox elements at the bottom of the Contact page are not grouped using a fieldset and legend.
  • Text input fields within forms do not use ‘autocomplete’ attributes.
  • At high zoom levels, users are only able to interact with the Live Chat CTA and not any input fields.
  • In a non-focused state form input fields and buttons do not have sufficient contrast to identify their boundaries.
  • Menu drop downs that appear on hover cannot be dismissed without moving focus using the keyboard or mouse.
  • Copy has insufficient contrast to the site background within the button ‘Got it!’ on the cookie notice, and, at some breakpoints, within the page header.
  • The live chat widget is currently not operable with a keyboard and voice recognition software.
  • All pages contain an <h1> and <h2>; however on some pages <h3> and <h4> headings are skipped in the DOM.
  • In operation of the site with a keyboard only, the user is forced to tab through all menu drop downs and cannot choose to exit a menu dropdown if following the focus order.
  • Users are not focused on the Cookie Notice when accessing the site, as a result some users may not know it is present.
  • The Zoonou site does not utalise a site map or a search function to allow multiple ways of visiting a page.
  • Status messages are not announced by screen readers at current.
