Toca Boca is a Swedish game studio creating imaginative digital worlds where children can explore, play and tell their own stories.

Their games, including Toca Boca World, are enjoyed by millions of players around the world. Behind those experiences are development teams continually introducing new features, characters and opportunities for play.

Growing together

As Toca Boca's games evolved, so did the demands on their QA team. They already had experienced testers in-house, but wanted additional expertise and capacity that could adapt to different projects and release schedules.

Since 2020, we've worked alongside their developers, designers, artists and internal QA specialists, providing a consistent team of testers who become familiar with the products they're responsible for.

That continuity matters. Rather than bringing new people up to speed for every project, Toca Boca can rely on testers who understand their games, their processes and the experience they want to create for players.

More room to create and experiment

Our testers work within Toca Boca's existing teams, contributing to planning, testing new features and providing feedback throughout development. Working in a similar time zone makes collaboration straightforward, whether that's joining daily conversations, investigating issues or preparing for a release.

The partnership also extends to Toca Boca's experiments with new features in Toca Boca World. We help validate different variations and check the data collected through A/B testing, giving the team reliable information to inform decisions about the game's development.

As projects change, Toca Boca can adjust the level of QA support they need without losing the knowledge and relationships built over time.
