Quality and security standards
We work to recognised standards for quality, information security and cyber security, supporting consistent delivery and the secure management of client and company information.
ISO 9001
We’re ISO 9001 certified for quality management. It provides a framework for how we manage our processes, monitor performance and continually improve the way we work. For our clients, that means our approach to quality is backed by consistent, documented processes across the company.
ISO 27001
We’re ISO 27001 certified for information security management. It shapes how we manage and protect information, from identifying and assessing security risks to putting the right controls in place. This helps us manage client and company information securely throughout our work.
Cyber Essentials Plus
We’re Cyber Essentials Plus certified, the highest level of certification available under the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme.
Cyber Essentials Plus goes beyond the requirements of Cyber Essentials, with independent technical testing to verify the security controls we have in place against common cyber threats. This gives our clients added confidence that our approach to cyber security has been independently tested, not just self-assessed.
Security clearance and vetting
Some of the organisations and projects we work with require additional levels of personnel screening and security clearance. We maintain a vetted team and have people with higher levels of clearance where projects require it.
BPSS and DBS
All Zoonou employees undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening and DBS checks as part of our approach to personnel security.
Security-cleared personnel
We also have team members who hold additional security clearances, including Security Check (SC) clearance and Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3 (NPPV3). This means we can provide appropriately vetted people for projects with specific security requirements.

ISTQB Gold Partner
We're an ISTQB Gold Partner, recognising our investment in professional development and the number of ISTQB-certified testers within our team. Our independent QA and software testing services cover everything from functional and user-focused testing to integration, automation and performance testing.
CREST-certified
We’re CREST-certified for penetration testing and have been a CREST member company for over five years. This demonstrates that our penetration testing services meet recognised industry standards for technical capability, processes and quality.
IAAP organisational member
We're an organisational member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), a global association for professionals and organisations working in accessibility. Our digital accessibility services help organisations understand and improve the accessibility of their websites, applications and digital services.

Certified B Corporation
As a Certified B Corporation, Zoonou is verified as meeting standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Our B Corp certification reflects how we run Zoonou as a business, considering our impact on people and the planet alongside the work we deliver.
Living Wage Employer
As an accredited Living Wage Employer, everyone directly employed by us is paid at least the real Living Wage, an independently calculated rate based on the cost of living. It’s one of the ways we put responsible employment into practice and make sure our people are fairly paid.

We're a Level 2 Disability Confident Employer, part of the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme. It reflects the steps we take to make our recruitment practices and workplace more inclusive and accessible for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions.
