Regularly assessing and validating our knowledge, skills and processes against industry standards is key to our success; we are therefore pleased to announce that we have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
Backed by the UK Government and a benchmark for IT security, reaching the highest level of certification offered under the Cyber Essentials scheme is a further demonstration of our commitment to data security. Combined with our CREST and ISO 27001 accreditations, this elevates our offering as a cybersecurity partner.
Cyber Essentials helps guard against the most common types of cyber-attacks and provides our clients the reassurance that our own IT systems have robust preventative security measures in place; safeguarding our data and that of our clients’. The certification is a practical demonstration of our knowledge and skills in this area; our security team completed a rigorous online assessment, followed by an in-depth audit of our IT systems by Southern IT Networks, an IASME Consortium approved partner.
Mike Goodman, Head of Technical Services at Zoonou said:
“Validating the security of our IT systems against cyber-attack through the process of Cyber Essentials Plus certification underlines Zoonou’s ongoing commitment to clients and suppliers. This level of certification is required by many public sector bodies and allows us to expand our service offering to new clients within the sector.”
